GORHAM — Prior to the last game of the season, the Gorham Parks and Recreation Department recognized Kathy Corrigan as the Volunteer of the Year.

“It was my honor this year to hand our Volunteer of the Year award to Kathy Corrigan. Kathy has coached the youth in Gorham for 42 years. She has coached at all levels from T-ball to varsity in almost every sport (baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, field hockey, etc).” said Jeffery Stewart, director of the Gorham Parks and Recreation Department.

“I would like to thank everyone who volunteered this year and in the past. I realize that time is precious, but I also know that our youth are better off, and have benefited from you giving of your time and thank you, Kathy, for all you've done for the rec dept and the youth of our community over the years,” said Stewart.
