BERLIN-- During Berlin High School Field Hockey Pre-season, the members of the field hockey team were able to participate in an event that was more than just playing field hockey. The team along with 17 other NH high school field hockey teams participated in a fund raiser for Cancer at Manchester Memorial High School. The members of the Berlin High School team organized a car was and with the generosity of the citizens of Berlin the team was able to donate $500 in memory of Corrine Daniels Bergeron. Good Morning, Christine and I wanted to personally say thank you for all your support during the jamboree on Saturday! We are so thankful for your support to the program. During the opening ceremonies we remembered and recognized 147 loved ones! Your participation in the event is allowing us to give a check for: $3186.30 to NCCC!! With the Pre-jamboree event that was held at Milly's Tavern on Aug 26th and the $500 donation from Berlin's car wash we have a grand total of $6544.30 being donated on behalf of Playing for a Purpose Jamboree.
