To the editor:
As Berlin voters head to the polls on Nov. 5, the board of directors of the Androscoggin Valley Fish and Game Association ask you to cast your vote for the re-election of Mayor Paul Grenier.
We recognize and appreciate the valuable experience he acquired through many years of dedicated service to our community.
Mayor Grenier has kept our ship afloat through some real tough sailing.
His affiliations with state and federal leaders have brought stability and hope for the future of OUR fair city.
Mayor Grenier has been recognized as a "Champion for Children" for good reason. His tireless support of area youth in education and athletics is second to none.
Mayor Grenier also played a key role in facilitating the transfer of land from the Conservation Fund to the city and eventually to our Fish and Game Association to allow us to educate and train area men and women and children to safely handle and respect the power of firearms.
Mayor Grenier is an individual who not only "talks the talk" but he also "walks the walk."
His support and participation in many community activities speaks volumes, with plenty of fuel left in his tank.
Why not let him burn it off in service to the city of Berlin and its residents.
In closing, we ask you to reflect upon these words as you make your choice for mayor.
We think that Paul Grenier for mayor is the obvious choice.
