In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 the following cases were heard:

John Raspe, 39, 215 Beckley Hill, Barre, Vt., was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $496, and serve a 30-day term in the Coos County House of Corrections. The jail term was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year. Raspe also was found guilty of open container and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $124. Charges of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence and intoxication or under the influence of drugs were all nolle prossed.

Desiree Jeanne Tessier, 23, 164 Pine St., Berlin, was found guilty of overtaking and passing a school bus and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $186. Tessier also was charged with three parking violations, which were nolle prossed.
