GORHAM — Sunday, July 21, the Gorham Public Library Friends are offering a program titled “Growing Tomatoes in High Tunnel Gardens.”

Steve Tassey, who grows tomatoes on his farm in Shelburne, will share his expertise on growing tomatoes in high tunnel gardens and then take his audience on a tour of his high tunnels.

If you would like transportation to the Tassey farm, meet at the Gorham Public Library at 4 p.m. Otherwise meet at the farm, at 29 Village Road in Shelburne, at 4:20 p.m. After the presentation Tassey will offer samples of some fresh tomatoes. The event is free and open to the public.
