GORHAM — Berlin City Chevrolet has gone back to the future with the return of General Manager Chad Crane and sales managers Paul St. Hilaire and Allen Binette.

With an accumulated 70 years of sales experience between them, the three represent a return to local management and a commitment to traditional service.

All three men had worked at Berlin City for years but left to pursue other opportunities.

But in January, Crane came back as general manager and immediately recruited St. Hilaire and Binette to join him. Crane said the emphasis at the dealership is now on sales and service.

Marc Pouliot, a certified world class master technician, is shop foreman. The designation is the highest in the in the automotive service industry, requiring rigorous testing in 22 specialty areas.

Crane said the dealership is working to expand its sales and service technicians as business is growing.

He said the dealership will still pick up and deliver for clients getting their vehicles serviced at the service department.

Buyers also have access to Berlin City’s entire inventory of vehicles.

Berlin City Chevrolet is also working to be a community partner. The company’s Drive for Education grant program funded the Youth Beatz program at Hillside Elementary School.

This Saturday, April 27, the dealership is having an open house from noon to 4 p.m. to show off its customized 2019 Corvette. The dealership took a base model Z06, and in partnership with Quintin Brothers Auto and Performance of Williston, Vt., had the vehicle customized to exceed the horsepower and torque of a ZR1 model. The exterior and interior have also been upgraded.

Crane noted that the Quintin Brothers have been recognized for their work nationally and have been featured in Hot Rod Magazine.

The Corvette is for sale at the price of $124,999, which Crane pointed out is still $20,000 cheaper than the ZR1.

Currently under cover in the showroom at Berlin City Chevrolet, the official unveiling of the sports car will take place at noon on Saturday.

Crane said the public is invited to see and look under the hood of the customized Corvette. Officials from both the dealership and Quintin Brothers will be there and refreshments will also be served.
