In Jackson, you’ll get to explore two courses — the nine-hole Eagle Mountain Resort course and the 18-hole Wentworth Golf Course. Both offer pro shops and putting greens. If you continue into Gorham, you’ll come to the Androscoggin Valley Country Club. This is a public course, and tee times are required. Call (603) 466-9468 for rates and tee times.
Continuing south into North Conway, you find Hale’s Location Golf Course, described by Golf Magazine as “one of the most unique and singularly beautiful golf developments in the country.”
This Albert Zicorus-designed public course offers nine holes of challenging and scenic golf. Located adjacent to the White Mountain Hotel, this is one of Mount Washington Valley’s most challenging courses. The White Mountain Hotel offers a pro shop, restaurant and lounge. Nearby, the North Conway Country Club, established in 1895, has provided an enjoyable golf experience in Mount Washington Valley for more than 100 years. Pro Larry Gallagher and asst. pro Kevin Walker are renowned for their teaching prowess. Call (603) 356-5244 for tee times. The club features a fantastic breakfast, lunch and cocktails deck (the Ledgeview Grille and lounge). Both are open to the public, and offer fantastic views across the fairways to the Moats — the Ledgeview is often called the best-kept secret in the valley!
In the southern part of Mount Washington Valley, you’ll find the 18-hole Indian Mound Golf Course in Center Ossipee. This par 72 course is challenging, yet forgiving. Jonathan and Julie Rivers oversee golf lessons. Call (603) 539-7733 for rates and tee times.
Nearby western Maine courses include Point Sebago Golf and Beach Resort (207-655-3821; 18 holes).
Point Sebago's 18-hole championship course is a par 72 layout that caters to all levels of play.

Local favorites include Uberblast Family Entertainment Center in North Conway (603-356-5655), now located at the former Banana Village in North Conway and featuring an arcade, a laser tag course, and an inflatable Bouncy House; Pirate’s Cove, North Conway (603-356-8807) and White Mountain Family Golf, Intervale (603-356-7956).
