KHS Eagles advance to finals Saturday with 5-4 semifinal win Wednesday over Peterborough

MANCHESTER — The third-seeded Kennett High Eagles softball team defeated No. 10th-seeded ConVal of Peterborough by a score of 5-4 Wednesday afternoon in Manchester in the state Division II semifinal.

They will advance to the finals Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Manchester against the winner of Wednesday's semifinal between the No. 4-seeded Portsmouth Clippers and the No. 12-seeded Bedford Bulldogs.

Kennett scored three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to win.
