Man dies in accident in East Conway

By Erik Eisele
CONWAY — An accident involving a pedestrian and a pickup truck left a man dead in East Conway on Monday.
At approximately 9 a.m., according to a Conway police statement, officers responded to East Conway Self-Storage on the East Conway Road for a reported crash involving a self-storage employee. When police arrived they found Fei Sun, a 31-year-old Chinese citizen who has lived in Conway for more than a decade, had been killed.
The name of the driver of the late-model Ford that struck Sun has not been released. The accident is still under investigation, according to Conway Police Lt. Chris Perley, but alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors.
Sun was not transported to the hospital, Perley said, because it was clear when emergency responders arrived that he was dead. Police have not determined if any charges will be filed.
