Published Date Written by Lloyd JonesRaces are starting to take shape for state and county offices with just a few days left in the candidate filing period. There's already a race for Carroll County Sheriff; two county commissioner seats; and state representative.

Fellow county commissioner incumbent David Sorensen, R-Eaton, will be challenged for his seat in Carroll County District I. Erik Corbett, D-Bartlett, who has become a semi-regular at commission meetings, filed earlier this week.
The field in the newly created Carroll County District 2 for state representative is getting crowded.
