Conway Circuit Court -- Week of Aug. 20, 2012

The following cases are from the Third Circuit Court in Conway for the week of Aug. 20, 2012:
Daniel J. Reed, 29, of Center Conway, was fined $500 and his license was suspended for nine months after he pleaded guilty, as part of a negotiated plea, to driving under the influence.
David Goodson, 63, of Tamworth, was fined $1,000 and his license was suspended for one year after he pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated. A second driving while intoxicated complaint was dropped.
Daniel A. Bryan, 40, of North Conway, was fined $1,000 and he was sentenced to 30 days in jail after he pleaded guilty, as part of a negotiated plea, to resisting arrest or detention. The fine and sentence were suspended provided one year good behavior and continued counseling. Two criminal mischief complaints and one simple assault complaint were all placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.
A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Ronald Pelkie, 40, of Stow, Maine, after he failed to appear to face a bad check complaint.
A felon in possession of a dangerous weapon complaint against Eugene W. Menard, 31, of Conway, was bound over to superior court after he waived his probable cause hearing.
Bryce P. Nelson, 22, of Brownfield, Maine, was fined $350 after he pleaded guilty, as part of a negotiated plea, to driving 67 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Paul R. Therrien, 26, of Tamworth, was fined $250 after he pleaded guilty, as part of a negotiated plea, to driving after revocation or suspension.
Anthony Richardi, 17, of Bartlett, was fined $100 after he pleaded guilty, as part of a negotiated plea, to possession and use of tobacco products.
Melinda Aliventi, 21, of Madison, was fined $500 and her license was suspended for nine months after she pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated. A second driving while intoxicated complaint was dropped.
Kevin M. Bush, 21, of Norwalk, Conn., was fined $500 and his license was suspended for nine months after he pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated. Two transporting alcoholic beverage (driver) complaints were placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.

A simple assault complaint against Burton W. Frost, 51, of North Conway, was dropped.
A sexual assault complaint against James M. Chebetnoy, 44, of Conway, was dropped.
A criminal mischief complaint against Robert A. Day, 19, of Redstone, was dropped.
A transporting alcoholic beverage (driver) complaint against Joseph A. Arsenault, 51, of North Yarmouth, Maine, was placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.
An unlawful possession of alcohol complaint against Anna Fitzpatrick, 17, of North Conway, was placed on file without finding provided completion of an alternative sentencing program.
An unlawful possession of alcohol complaint against David A. St. Pierre, 20, of Beverly, Mass., was placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.
A violation of protective order complaint against Leslie G. MacDonald, 52, of Conway, was placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.
A bail jumping complaint against Joshua W. Locklin, 37, of Hiram, Maine, was dropped.
A criminal mischief complaint and a simple assault complaint against Shawn C. Parda, 38, of North Conway, were both dismissed.

A simple assault complaint against Amber L. Watson, 17, of East Conway, was placed on file without finding provided one year good behavior.
An operating without a valid license complaint against Tammy R. Foster, 47, of Hiram, Maine, was dropped.
A fugitive from justice complaint against Jason A. Smith, 36, of Fryeburg, was dropped.
Complaints against Brion D. Howard, 28, of Conway, of criminal threatening (use of a deadly weapon) and two counts of criminal mischief were all dropped.
