Participants said it was a super dance experience with Ted Lizzotte caller and Bernie Potter cuer, and added that Ted has a knack for making the simplest calls exciting and challenging and Bernie as always choreographed some beautiful numbers.
A number of other clubs joined in the festivities. In addition to the dancing the club held a Chinese auction with more than 40 prizes donated by local merchants, door prizes were also drawn and refreshments were available including an anniversary cake baked by Diane Drum.
The hall was decorated with pictures and memorabilia for several other anniversary dances held over the years to mark other club milestones. Arthur and Grace King, Katie Pickering and Eleanor Green were recognized as having been members of the club since it's inception. Club founders Joan and Russ Lanoie were also present.
