WOLFEBORO — Pierce Camp Birchmont, on the shores of Lake Wentworth, will once again be the site of the Carroll County Republicans Committee's annual meet the candidates picnic Saturday, Sept. 8.
Three days before the primary vote Sept. 11, the event is expected to attract the majority of the candidates involved in primary races, and so affords an opportunity for voters to have one last chance to meet and hear the candidates before voting.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet candidates Ovide LaMontagne and Kevin Smith for Governor as well as incumbent Congressman Frank Guinta and challenger Rick Parent who are involved in the Sept. 8 primary. Carroll County candidates for commissioner, attorney and sheriff as well as N.H. Senator Jeb Bradley, and state representative candidates covering all of Carroll County, and incumbent Executive Councilor Ray Burton.
