NRA Women On Target shoorting clinic Aug. 4



FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Fish & Game Association of Fryeburg, Maine will be holding its second NRA Women On Target Shoorting Clinic, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at Brownfield Community Center, Fryeburg Fish and Game Club Room, 90 Main St., Brownfield, Maine 04010 (off Route 113).

 This is designed for women and taught by the NRA's certified instructors. This event is sponsored by a grant from the National Rifle Association, in conjunction with Fryeburg Fish & Game Association. Participants should wear comfortable, rugged outdoor clothing including a shirt with a high neckline, such as crew neck T-shirt or a polo shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes, boots or sneakers. The event is rain or shine, so bring sunscreen and/or rain gear and insect repellent.

Tuition is $40 and covers instruction, use of firearms, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection and lunch. The instructional clinic is limited to 24 participants, 18 years and above. Young women, ages 16-17, are welcome if their parent or legal guardian supervises the minor at all times. Pre-registration is required and registration fees are non-refundable after July 14.
