Rev. John N. Simpson (for Saturday)
Rev. John N. SimpsonRev. John N. Simpson, 83, of Wells, Maine, passed away peacefully in Jonesboro, Ga. surrounded by his family.He was born in Vineland, N.J., the third of six siblings, and the son of John Victor Simpson and Kate Matilda Nelson.
He graduated from Vineland High school, Gordon College and Gordon-Cornwell Divinity School; his S.T.M. and D.Min degrees from Andover Newton Theological School where he was an adjunct faculty member for a decade. He was a C.P.E. supervisor and a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Dr. Lawrence S. "Larry" Toms, 81, of Wakefield, formerly of Wolfeboro, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.
Jesse 'Bud' Shackford Jr.
Jesse "Bud" Shackford Jr.Jesse "Bud" Shackford Jr., 85, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in North Conway.A native and lifelong resident, of Madison, Bud was born June 28, 1927, the son of the late Jesse E. and Pauline (Hurd) Shackford. Bud owned and operated J E. Shackford and Sons Construction in Silver Lake, for many years before retiring in 1990.
During World War II, Jesse served in the Army Air Force. He was a member of the Madison Baptist Church and he and his wife Ruth have lived on the family farm, "Lucky Boy Farm", since 1952.

Jack R. DykemanJack R. Dykeman, formerly of Chatham, went peacefully to heaven on April 30, 2013 with his wife, Nancy, and daughter, Julie, by his side. Born on June 17, 1934 to Arthur H. Dykeman Sr. and Kathryn T. Danielson Dykeman in Stoughton, Mass.
Jack was a retired master electrician/carpenter, who loved to restore old houses. He always whistled while he worked.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing in Pittsburg, N.H. and treasure hunting. He loved music and dancing to the polka.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy, whom he met while she was playing the accordian at the Sportsman's Club in Canton, Mass.; his daughters, Heidi, of Cape Cod, Mass., and Julie, of Fryeburg, Maine; grandson, Forrest Greene, of Fryeburg; granddaughters, Katie and Jackie, of Cape Cod; sisters, Betty May Rubel and husband, George, of Stoughton, and Peggy Johnson and husband, Kenneth, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Virginia Lyerla and Grace Cohenno; brothers, Buddy, Jimmy, Louie and Billy.

Pauline MacLean
The family of Pauline MacLean will hold a Celebration of Life for her at the Brown Church (Conway Village Congregational Church) in Conway on Saturday, May 4, from 2 until 4 p.m. Pauline died in Cape Coral, Fla. on Dec. 17, 2012.
