Frances V. WilsonFrances V. Wilson, 95, of Ossipee and a former resident of Attleboro and North Attleboro, Mass., died Friday, June 22, 2012 in Mountain View Community Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold E. Wilson to whom she was married 68 years.Born Aug. 31, 1916 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Dora (Pineo) Macdonald.
Frances grew up in Attleboro and attended Attleboro High School. She was a resident of North Attleboro for over forty years before moving to Freedom in 1975.
Frances managed the Martin School cafeteria in North Attleboro for several years but was primarily a homemaker, caring for her five children.
She was previously a member of Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro and was a member of a snow mobile club in New Hampshire. She also loved sewing and knitting.
Frances is survived by four children: Robert Wilson of Arizona, Gloria Beardworth, of Effingham, Jane Fowler of North Attleboro and Linda Feeney of North Attleboro; also 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was mother of the late Shirley Dross who passed away in 2009.
A funeral service was held in the Sperry and McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street in North Attleboro on Thursday, June 28, followed by burial in North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro.
