'Valley Expressionists' art show at Jackson Art Studio and Gallery July 27-29

JACKSON — The Jackson Art Studio and Gallery at 155 Ridge Road in Jackson just a few miles North of Story Land is holding a summer show and sale entitled "Valley Expressionists." This show will feature a selection of cutting edge Summer work from local artists and artisans. The work features a fresh, modern take on valley landscapes with a bright color palette and unusual representation of the local landscape. There will also be 3-D work including jewelry, mosaics, glass, scarves, and handmade bags.
There will be a meet-the-artist opening reception on July 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. along with a make-your-own paste paper station led by Marnie Cobbs. The show will continue on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with artists demonstrating on both days.
The featured artists for the show include Valentina Kobilansky, oil painting, Sean Stull, pastels, Rebecca Klementovich, abstract painting, Marnie Cobbs, gouche and handmade books, Bert Weiss, glass, Joe Klementovich, photography, and Melanie Barash Levitt, painting and monotype. Other artists will also be showing their work in the attached permanent gallery which is opened every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer.
