Brent Arnold to play solo cello at Denmark Arts Center Sept. 1

DENMARK, Maine — Join the Denmark Arts Center in Denmark, Maine for a concert with artist-in-residence Brent Arnold Saturday, Sept. 1, at 7:30 p.m.

Arnold will play recent cello compositions and older work. Classically trained by Walter Gray, Arnold's abnormal approach delights his audience with electronics, looping tracks and original composition. The acoustic backdrop of the Denmark Arts Center's main hall will offer a perfect setting for this solo performance.

Sponsored in part by the Simmons Foundation. The suggested donation is $10. Seating is cabaret and this is a bring-your-own-beverage event. Brent Arnold will be in residence for two more weeks.
