Fundraising event at Shannon Door Pub Sept. 27
Published Date
JACKSON — Come to The Shannon Door Pub in Jackson Saturday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m. for a fantastic evening of frolic, fundraising, merriment, music, pizza, and literary lunacy.
Erik Atwell, local Jackson Boy turned California transplant, and recently reborn as a local Jackson author, will be on hand at 5 p.m. to sell, sign and maybe even give away copies of his acclaimed novel "Thank You For Flying Air Zoe," which is affectionally described as a novel dedicated to anyone who has ever sung into a hairbrush and dreamt of being a rock star.
Live music will be provided at 7 p.m. by the brilliant duo of Dennis O'Neil and Jon Deveneau.
A dollar from all pizzas sold and $2 from all books sold will go to the committee of the Old Jackson Library, who aspire to restore the town's old library so that it might be used as a multi-purpose facility supporting the community and the arts.
