The man arrested in connection with the robbery of the local Rite Aid Pharmacy on Tuesday night does not appear to be linked to the armed robbery of the same store in July, according to police officials. Arthur James Schroeder, 27, is accused of stealing an estimated $48,000 in pharmacy drugs.

When it comes to fessing up to messing up, it's not entirely different in prison than it is in court. Inmate Ronald LaMarche took advantage of a “very common” situation in which he agreed to plead guilty to breaking prison rules in exchange for less drastic cuts in privileges and less time in “the hole,” corrections officers said.
