(COURTESY SETTLERS GREEN STREETSIDE)CONWAY — Loft Outlet and Think Kitchen are the latest retailers to sign on to open new stores at Settlers Green Streetside.

The news comes just one week after the announcement of a new 120-seat upscale restaurant, Barley & Salt Tap House and Kitchen, featuring an extensive draft beer list along with an interesting “street food” menu, set to open this fall.

Loft, a spinoff of Ann Taylor created by its parent company Ann Inc. in 1998, features women’s clothing including everyday essentials and on-trend dresses and work wear.

There are 650 Loft full retail and outlet stores in North America.

“Our purpose is to inspire and connect with women to put their best selves forward everyday” is their corporate statement, and Ann Inc. is involved with many women- and children-centered non-profits.

The “Responsibly Ann” campaign covers issues including environment, product ethics and charitable giving.

Since 2005, Ann Inc. has raised over $27 million to support Breast Cancer Research Foundation as well as $32 million to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2007.

“Loft will open this fall in Suite K10 nearest to Route 16 in the barn board building,” Laura Tuveson, Settlers Green’s assistant director of marketing. “We’re thrilled to add Loft to our list of women’s fashion brands.”

Think Kitchen is a Canadian-based kitchen supply store just entering the U.S. market.

Its location at Settlers Green Streetside will be its second U.S. outlet store, with other stores around the world, including Canada and South America.

Unique, affordable and fitting to customers’ personalities, Think Kitchen offers products ranging from serveware and cookware to kitchen tools and barware.

According to Tuveson,  “the Think Kitchen store is bright and full of different products and brands, perfect for housewarming gifts or fun additions to any kitchen.”

The $15 million expansion project of Settlers Green broke ground in November 2016.

On track for a mid-summer sneak peak, many stores will be open in time for summer sales.

The 50,000-square-foot project includes four new buildings housing retailers Columbia Sportswear, Skechers Outlet, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Think Kitchen, Loft Outlet and Francesca’s.

The addition of Settlers Green Streetside increases Settlers Green to 300,000 square feet of commercial retail development.

A big grand opening event is planned for this October. Dubbed “Dancing in the Street,” the festivities will kick off on Saturday of Columbus Day Weekend and run through Sunday, Oct. 15.
